Health and Embodiment Education by a Physical Therapist, Nutritionist, Integrative Manual Therapist, and certified GYROTONIC® exercise practitioner.

Welcome to the Levity PT and Bodyworks website. I'm Jen, and I'll be your guide!

Motivated through my own extensive health history and recovery, I am a Resilience Educator.

I graduated from Northeastern University's Physical Therapy program in 1996. After my own health crisis in 1998, I have benefited from the deep dive I had to do into osteopathic techniques while studying with some healing masters.

I pursued an advanced manual certification in Integrative Manual Therapy after 6 years of in-depth training in myofascial, visceral, cranial-sacral, lymphatic, and somato-energetic release. Once certified, I had the privilege of working alongside my teacher and IMT developer, Sharon Weiselfisch Giamatteo, in her clinics for over a decade, refining my skills in managing complex adult and pediatric cases.

In 2011, I had the privilege of participating in an advanced mentorship with Dr. Jerome Weiss, MD, at the Pacific Center for Pelvic Pain in San Francisco for three years, where I supported both men and women experiencing pelvic pain and the collective trauma recovery that goes with it. Dr Weiss was a pioneer in the treatment of pelvic pain and pudendal neuralgia.

I returned to the East Coast 10 years ago and served as the Clinical Supervisor at a Spaulding Outpatient facility affiliated with Mass General Brigham in Boston, MA. Three years ago, due to logistics in the current health care model, I reestablished my cash-based out-of-network practice, Levity PT and Bodyworks, in Natick, MA. This enabled me to prioritize patient care without the constraints of insurance, extensive paperwork, and short appointment times.

My current vision, after working for 30 years with the most challenging adults and kids, is to help humanity PREVENT this for our youth and head toward ideal performance for life instead.

With the current lack of enough help (schedules are full, many don't have primary care MDs to refer out, and automated healthcare is straining many a nervous system), I have been focusing my intention on educating and empowering as many people as possible to help their families directly with the tribal/ community-based care we are all designed to do!

My self-paced curriculum, Whole Body Approach, and the new Parent Bodywork Project are ways we can make the most significant impact on the future generation and our families' well-being. Parents, friends, and teammates can all help each other along the way and have FUN doing it. All hands on deck!

My Mission

At Levity PT and Bodyworks, we are dedicated to providing accessible and comprehensive resources for individuals and professionals seeking to navigate the challenges of the current healthcare system. Our approach, through the online learning modules on this site, is to empower you to take control of your health and well-being through education, practical skills, and a supportive community. We offer a holistic perspective that integrates advanced bodywork, nutrition, exercise, and somatic self-care tools to address the diverse needs of the human experience.

My 10-week program is free (and requires no login), and it takes you step by step, twice a week, through foundational exercises, nutrition, meditation, and somatic/nervous system re-education. It is a compilation of the last 30 years of holistic experience, featuring my clients' best practices, available to everyone.

Join us in redefining your healthcare and improving our collective light and vibration from the comfort of your home, and experience the transformative impact of learning foundational bodywork techniques.

Over the last year, I have developed and tested The Parent Bodywork Project. After working with live teachings and my original modules for professionals, when I sat down to identify where I could have the most significant impact, it was by teaching and coaching parents to learn how to help their kids from home. It is a revolutionary approach to getting tools into the hands of dedicated parents wanting to help their kids naturally, using their own hands at home.

You need a degree to treat professionally, but why not learn the powerful, not-so-basics for yourself and your family? If you are not already holding a professional license, these courses may inspire you to pursue a new career.

Anyone can learn to help others through the easy-to-follow programs I have put together on this site.

If you are in Boston, join us live. We hold group classes and treatment intensives throughout the year! Otherwise, utilize the recorded training modules with a partner of your choice.
